April 22, 2006 [haha, so exact]. Hoot commercial on Nickelodeon. That blonde boy was hot. I went online to IMDb.com and searched “Hoot.” Who was Mullet Fingers? Cody Linley. And then it started. I got giddy, you know “freaked out”, making muted high pitched screams, being hyper. He was the bully from Cheaper By The Dozen and the boy that told Corey to jack stuff from the toy shop on That’s So Raven. I didn’t know that. I googled him and found no fan sites. I decided to make one, and yeah I did. It took me a while to understand the whole concept of website maintaining, had some problems, thought about closing the site twice, but here it is, LinleyLove.org, a fan site for the 17 year old actor Cody Linley. So why do I like Cody? I fell for his “bad boy” act, very talented in my opinion. Oh and he’s hot.

 

About The Name
From a Neopets.com guild created with Rachel for Taylor Lautner, "Lautner Love", hence the name "Linley Love" for Cody Linley. And the fact I was obsessed with hot guys until I reached [age] puberty. The domain was bought on March 28, 2007 at HostMySite.com - for $2.95 (special 1 month offer) and my first domain. So yeah; Linley Love/linleylove.org. You get it?

June 2007 when I was about to start a Cody Linley fansite called 'Cody Linley Web' I was already half-way in completing the site when I saw Kathleen's post about looking for someone to run her site 'Linley Love', I e-mailed her about wanting to run the site and just merge it to the site I was about to start... and the rest was history.

About The Name
Cody Linley Web. Actually I don't have any idea why I chose that name for the site, at first it was supposed to be 'Cody-Licious' or 'Cody Linley Online'. I thought Cody-Licious is a little cheesy and 'Cody Linley Online' has no impact on me... I decided to call it 'Cody Linley Web' and i don't know why. :p
